I am a master’s student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Tennessee. I have a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida and I am presently pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering. My current research focuses on using the outputs of a hydrologic model to target specific areas. These locations are then accessed and analyzed at a hillslope scale with the aid of GeoWEPP and WEPP. The availability of water, translated into soil moisture allows a determination of organic matter loss to be assessed, which can lead to direct estimates of soil erosion and crop yields.
